Our Story
An Icelandic couple with a French dream
An Icelandic couple, living in Norway and dreaming of a whole lot of places in this world. Happily married for over 20 years and together we have three children. For many years, our dream had been to own a house in France. We have traveled a lot and explored several places in France and in 2017 we discovered the Bordeaux area. We decided to take the leap and Villa du Hibou is the result. Our beautiful home is an inviting, comfortable space that we share with our family and friends. Together we hope to create memories for a lifetime.

Villa Pujols is our personal corner of the internet. It is where we write about life at the house and in the village, share the recipes we cook for family and guests, and collect the photographs that tell our story. Since this is a private space, most of the content is not public and access is by invitation only.
